Features

A Time-Bending Platformer Starring One Reckless Cat

Built like a console-quality release: sharp controls, handcrafted puzzles, and a full story about a lab that broke time itself.

Instant Time Swap

Press the time button in your stomach (yes, you ate it) to flick between a pristine past and a broken, overgrown present in a single frame.

🧩

Cause & Effect Puzzles

Move objects in the past to reshape the present. Break platforms in the present without hurting their younger selves. One-way causality, endless “wait… WHAT?” moments.

🎮

Tight Cat Controls

Wall jump, ledge grab, slide, attack, and curl up into a sit animation if you stand still too long. Every input feels snappy, responsive, and very, very feline.

🕷

Timeline Boss Fights

Face enemies whose armor, weak points, and attacks change between timelines. Damage a leg in the past, watch the future version crumble.

🌿

Two Versions of Every Room

Clean metal floors and humming machinery in the past. Rust, cracks, moss and ivy in the present. Same layout, totally different hazards.

🎧

Atmospheric Soundtrack

Bright, hopeful synths in the past. Echoey, static-laced ambience in the present. A soft time-warp whoosh every time you flip reality.

Time System

Master the Rules of Two Timelines

TimeCat isn’t just a gimmick. Every single puzzle, platform, and trap is designed around how the past and present collide.

Think in Yesterday and Today

You’re not just moving through space—you're navigating two versions of the same lab. Doors, platforms, and boxes obey simple but ruthless rules.

RULE 01

Changing the past changes the present.

Push a box in the past and its future self in the present snaps to the new spot. Cut a cable back then, and the machine is dead forever.

RULE 02

Changing the present does not touch the past.

Smash platforms, break glass, burn plants—nothing you do in the present ripples backwards. It’s your playground… and your mess.

RULE 03

TimeBoxes overwrite reality.

A special box that can only exist in one timeline at a time. Bring it across and it replaces whatever version was there. No copies. No mercy.

Characters

One Cat, One Rat, and One Extremely Bad Idea

TimeCat’s story is small, sharp, and personal: two lab survivors, one broken facility, and a time device that should never have been swallowed.

The Cat

Curious, nimble, and catastrophically impulsive. Wall-jumps off rusty walls, squeezes through tight vents, and clenches its stomach to slam the time button inside.

Nine lives. Two timelines. Zero caution.

Reluctant ally
The Rat

He was supposed to guard the time button. You ate it. Now he’s stuck helping you open doors, trigger pistons, and navigate the lab before it tears itself apart.

"You ate my button, you fur-brained fool!"
Boss 1 spider assets
Boss
The Weaver (Prototype)

A mechanical spider stitched from cables, pipes, and dripping acid. In the past it’s unfinished; in the present, it’s overgrown and unhinged.

Time is its armor. Time is your weapon.
Boss Fight

The Weaver: A Boss Split Across Time

A multi-phase showdown where each timeline is a different encounter. Learn its patterns in the past, survive its rage in the present.
